Nigerians  Scare At Lagos Airport Bomb 
There was panic at the domestic wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Lagos over a possibility of bomb explosion as security officials mounted a road block to screen vehicles entering into the airport.
Amongst the security personnel were officials of the Anti-Bomb squad, the Police and FAAN security operatives. Security men were seen using several bomb detectors to screen all the vehicles entering into the airport.
The situation gave room for a build-up of traffic as vehicular movement became very slow at the airport. 
Speaking on telephone, Head of Public Affairs of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mr. Akin Olukunle said that FAAN has started its regular security checks at the airport aimed at ensuring that the airport was always safe.
He said “Due to the security situation in the country at the moment, we always carry out routine checks.
